Hey guys, what's up ? It's Bluey656 here again, introducing the new system of publishing tech news posts, now, I will be picking up the top tech news that took place during the week and will be posting it around the weekend. I hope you like it and here you go..
TOP WEEKLY TECH NEWS #1 (3rd August, 2016.) :-
1) Gamers getting refund for No Man's Sky even after playing it over time :-
As a result of poor optimization of the PC version, gamers have been getting bad performance and due to missing content, gamers have been able to issue a support ticket and hence getting their refund including some people who have played even for more than 80 hrs.
2) Apple being sued :-
Some of Apple's iPhone 6 and 6s consumers are reportedly suing Apple for its defective and unresponsive touch screens recently.
3) No Android Nougat (7.0) for some older phones :-
Qualcomm is not going to release graphic drivers update for the Snapdragon 800 and 801 chipsets due to which some devices like HTC One M8, Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3 and etc. will not get the Android 7 update.
4) Apple's next big event :-
Apple's next big event is being held on September 7th on which Apple will reveal it's new upcoming products including the one and only iPhone 7 and maybe some other products like updated Apple watches and etc.
5) Intel's big announcement :-
'Kaby Lake', Intel's new 7th generation post-tick-tock processor architecture processors will be coming soon to enhance the PC's with the new chipsets.
6) Release of PS Now :-
The popular cloud gaming service is here with its launch on PC and PS4, you can now play PS3's games on PS4 and both, PS3 and PS4's games on PC via this service. This means that you will not require a PS to play those awesome PS Games on your PC, but the subscription cost of it is too high, priced at $99.99 for 12 months but there is a 7-day trial available right now. For PC, the requirements are as follows :-
Windows 7 (SP 1), 8.1 or 10.
Core i3 2.0 GHz.
300 MB of available storage
2 GB of RAM.
Sound card
USB port.
Minimum of 5 MBPS Internet Connection
7) Battlefield 1 Open Beta releases :-
Battlefield Open Beta started on August 31st and is still going on while its free to download for everyone on Origin on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. There is no confirmation of when it will end.
8) Acer Predator 21 X announced :-
Acer's new beast gaming laptop with a curved screen was announced which will have a 21-inch, 2560x1080 IPS display, being the first laptop with a curved screen. This laptop will have dual GTX 1080's in SLI with the newly announced 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake CPU.

9) Lenovo's three big announcements :-
(i) Moto Z Play :-
Moto Z Play is be a lower end version in Motorola's Z Series. The specs have been dialed pack to reduce the price of it and the price is $400. It sports a 5.5 inch 1080p display, 2 gigs of RAM, 16 MP rear camera, an octa core processor and Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 while it has a massive 3510 mAh battery which will last 50 hours after a charge.
(ii) The Yoga Book :-
The new Yoga Book is kind of a hybrid, just not a laptop/tablet hybrid. It features a touchscreen tablet on the top while a writing and sketching tablet on the bottom which will come with a stylus. It will be launched in October in 2 variants of it, one is the Android variant priced at $499 and the other one, which is a Windows Variant will be priced at $549.
(iii) The Yoga 910 :-
The successor to the Yoga 900 was announced. It will be available up to 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD Storage and Intel HD Graphics with a 13.9 inch 1080p or 4K display and is also a laptop/tablet hybrid. It will be launched in October with the starting price of $1299.
10) Galaxy Note 7 shipments stopped by Samsung :-
Approximately 35 phones have been reported to explode or catch fire by the consumers from August 24th itself, just 5 days after it's release. Due to which, Samsung has stopped selling and shipments of Galaxy Note 7. It is a huge disappointment as it was not expected by Samsung.
11) Samsung's new Galaxy Gear S3 :-
Gear S3 is the famous upcoming successor to the Gear S2 which will support that rotating bezel which acts as a scroll wheel and now, can also answer calls. It will have an extra day of battery than the S2 as it has a larger 380 mAh battery while it also has an onboard GPS, speaker and mic for making calls, NFC and MST for Samsung Pay, 1.3 inch 350x360 AMOLED display, Gorilla Glass 3 with scratch resistance, 1 GHz dual-core Exynos 7270 processor, 4GB of internal storage, water,dust,heat and cold reistance, LTE (for Frontier variant) and Wifi Support which also allows Spotify streaming and means that there will be not phone required to use this watch for various purposes and with of course, a heart-rate sensor.
12) Sony's 2 Xperia phones announcements :-
(i) Xperia XZ :-
Xperia XZ is a successor to the Xperia X and the new flagship device of Sony. It comes with a refreshed design and performance over the X. It sports a 5.2 inch 1080p IPS display, Sanpdragon 820, 3GB Ram, stereo speakers, 32GB internal storage expandable upto 200GB via Micro SD Card, USB Type C port, 23 MP camera with f/2.0 lens with IMX 300 Sensor, 2900 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The price is not revealed yet.
(ii) Xperia X Compact :-
Xperia X Compact is also an follow-up to the Xperia X and has the same design as Xperia XZ. It's powered by the hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor, 3GB of Ram, 4.6 inch 720p display, 23 MP IMX 300 Sensor Rear Camera, 13 MP Front Camera, USB Type C Port and Quick Charge 2.0 support. The price is not revealed yet.
